2025 California NAR Stipend Policy
Directors Stipend
All California NAR Directors are eligible to receive full Stipend if all criteria are met.
A list of mandatory meetings will be provided in advance of the NAR business meetings. All directors will be required to check in electronically onsite. Stipend deduction/prorations will occur for shortened travel and/or missed onsite meetings.
Mandatory meetings may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- California Briefing Meeting
- California Issues Briefing Meeting (in Washington DC)
- Region 13 Caucus
- Your assigned committee (Your committee takes precedence over the CA meetings)
- Board of Directors Meeting
The Request for Stipend Form:
All California NAR Directors will receive an email with an electronic Request for Stipend Form. All Directors will certify attendance at all mandatory meetings and disclose any monies received from any other sources (such as NAR, local AOR, FPC stipend, Institute, Societies, Councils, Multi-Cultural Organizations, or other entity).
Other Californians eligible for Partial/Full Stipend Amount
- Past NAR Presidents from California (4) are eligible for a partial stipend, as they receive reimbursement for their airfare and hotel expenses from NAR.
- Recipients of the National Distinguished Service Award (3) are eligible for a full stipend if mandatory attendance requirements are met.
- NAR Committee Chairs, not serving as Directors, are eligible for a full stipend if all mandatory attendance requirements are met.
- Members of the following Committees, not serving as Directors, are eligible for a full stipend if all mandatory attendance requirements are met:
